Spring refresh
Here in NYC, Spring has well and truly come early! Apart from the obvious pro’s (gelato, open-toed shoes, fun spring florals, fetes, festivals and picnic lunches) it’s also a great excuse to make positive changes in your everyday routine. To mark the month of love, our February feature is a collection of all things Valentine-y. Check it out and be inspired (or start dropping hints to your special somebody). Also, for anybody who lives in Manhattan, start getting your butt over to City Bakery for their (drumroll please) annual Hot Chocolate Festival! Finally!! Today’s flavour is Espresso and tomorrow’s is Ginger… two of our favs mmmm

Our new Feature of the Month is up! In keeping with our belief that this year is going to be the best EVER, we’ve also decided to start taking turns doing little weekly inspiration presentations in the studio. Today I inspired the girls to reflect on their past accomplishments, dream BIG in the new year and remember it is our choice to live life with a pursuit of HAPPYness. I had the girls write down their top 5 accomplishments from the 2011, and reminded them to celebrate those successes. For an added touch, we watched a little movie snippet. It’s one of those moments which perfectly sums up the feeling of achievement when you finally, finally get there.
Anyway, some food for thought… hope you enjoy the feature, the clip and the rest of your day

I am feeling so inspired by our January feature of the month photographer, Sabra Krock. She has such a wide range of skills and makes me want to spend all day in the kitchen tomorrow. Then of course, I’ve have to spend Sunday cuddled up on the couch with a woolly blanket and plate after plate of home baked cookies, tarts and scones… mmmm. Not a bad way to kick off 2011!
