Le matin. Gardeuse de vaches
I’ve been meaning to post this since we returned from Paris. It was one of my favorites at the musée d’Orsay.
Le matin. Gardeuse de vaches. Painted by Camille Corot.

My Little Paris is coming out with a book! What a clever little video to promote it.
Merci
Merci is just about the coolest concept store ever and a MUST SEE for anybody heading to Paris. When we visited, we each picked up a gorgeous little notebook (pictured above) which we now fill with everyday thoughts and inspiration… it makes me smile… (even though I’ve forgotten the translation)
C’est la féte du timbre
I bought these stamps in Paris to use on postcards to my friends and family… But they were so pretty I couldn’t part with them! I love the illustrations and the beautiful bold colours especially that vivid blue!
mmmmm mustard
Why does EVERYTHING have to be gorgeous in Paris? I never thought I’d fall in love with mustard, but these squeezy condiments by Tubissime were so pretty, we just had to buy some to bring home. Unfortunately, we’ve now discovered they’re also delicious – does anybody know if/where they can be purchased in the USA? It’s picnic season, after all and I really want to try the truffle flavour!
In the meantime, check out the rest of our Paris photos in our facebook album – and have a great Memorial Day weekend!
Day 5
Dearest Paris, thank you for filling us with inspiration, croissants and sunshine… it’s been merveilleux. Until next time, à bientôt! xxx Petite Alma
DAY 4
A day filled with beautiful Monets, delicious food and a delightful stroll through the Jardin Tuleries. Topped of with a magical night time velib ride to and from the scrumptious Hotel du Nord (and a decadent midnight gelato stop!). mmmmm
Day 2 (part 2)
Fabulous bistro fare… twilight wanders through the Louvre and midnight macaron parties… it’s the only way to live.
PARIS!
Les bords de Seine
A beautiful photo-montage of the 1900 Paris world fair by the rather talented Dubois and Barrel. Found via Fabien Barral’s site: graphic-exchange.
My little Paris
Emilie, one of our friends over at the fabulous Babyccino Kids, told us about My Little Paris. In addition to being a very informative site, the illustrations are simply delightful with so much animation! I love the sexy, skinny french woman eating a giant baguette.
Parisian Chic
Continuing with our theme… we’re loving this new book by Parisian supermodel Inès de la Fressange. It’s full of lovely little pieces of life/wardrobe/style advice. I especially love the photographs of herself and her effortlessly beautiful daughter, Nine (above, modelling must-have pieces.) ‘Cool’ just runs in the family, apparently…

Une icône parisien
Just to warn you, this is the first of a slew of Parisian themed posts – we’re just so excited… I love the girl in the dress and want to be sitting exactly where she is.
